WE RADICAL DEMOCRATS....

We feel politics today is in need of a powerful intervention. We firmly believe that we alone, guided by the political philosophy of Buddha, inspired by strategies of political resistance propounded by Gandhi, fuelled with the egalitarian views of Che; can provide the much needed intervention. All we are looking for is an opportunity to change the political climate. Our endeavor is to win back freedom for the human being. We sincerely believe that humans endowed with reason are well equipped to make the world a much better place to live in. We believe that a truly egalitarian world is possible if humans can manage to win back the lost human. We strive for a healthy world, and we envision a future where the human life is devoid of need and greed. We believe that this struggle to recreate a truly egalitarian world, devoid of any hegemony, is possible only through a truly democratic process. We are against every coercive measure. Guided by Gandhi’s popular, yet ethical strategies of political resistance, Radical Democrats aim to overthrow the existing hegemonic authorities through nonviolent methods. The eight principles of Buddha constitute the terra firma of our party’s political philosophy, as we believe that every Radical Democrat should abide by these eight principles. Radical Democrats believe that violence does not provide any solace, and that the road to human emancipation from tyranny can be firmly laid by peaceful measures alone.
We are not Gandhists, nor do we subscribe to Gandhi’s political ideology. We are only inspired with his call for peaceful struggle. Buddha is not the religious leader of the Radical Democrats. Buddha is our source of our political inspiration. We endorse Che’s strong views on egalitarianism, though we don’t agree with his methods of achieving the same.
